To be perfectly frank, (may i be frank?) if you're running Windows 98 or 98SE, you'd be better off sticking with one of them. Windows ME isn't all it's cracked up to be, it's totally rubbish with it's housekeeping - you need to defragment every few weeks... i could go on, the list is endless. I think it was rushed out just so they could capitalise on the "Millennium" fever that was rife at the time. Stick with 98, until you can afford a copy of XP (which is a big improvement).
