I am working my way through different browsers with the adblockers turned off and AB looks and behaves differently on all of them.
I would like to know how you are using AB and what sort of adverts you are seeing.
I am currently using Firefox on a PC and see no flashing ads, just ads in sidebars. If I zoom in then the sidebars are hidden completely and I can see no ads but I can read AB from the other side of the room. :D

Very odd - Buenchico, I have downloaded Slimjet and the ads are very bad on my W10 PC. I have fast changing, moving and flashing ads on my screen.
Slimjet is a 'no' for me

So the same browser can good for one on a PC, and bad for another on a PC.
I find that odd, but interesting.
Thanks for all the replies so far, I am taking note of all of them
Oh, I've had some flashing ones now. Also an ad for a Cisco something costing US$3,499, which I won't be taking up even if I knew what it was.
Sounds like a Microsoft problem. Android and Apple seem to be OK.
During the day on my work computer - Firefox and Adblock Plus.

Other times on my ipad - no adblocker
chrome on lappie win 10..not seeing any ads ?
Windows 10 pc, Firefox and Adblock Plus. Edited Cookie settings and only get one 'banner ad' partway through a thread.
Win 10 pro and Win 10 home. Minimal ads on Chrome & Edge.

Adblocker plus switched off.
No ads on laptop with Firefox. With Chrome and Edge I get one ad across the bottom which I can dismiss with a click. It's odd how people are having different experiences with the same systems. Could the type of laptop itself have anything to do with it?

No idea, Jackdaw. I find it all very odd
Unlikely, I have tested on 6 different laptops from i5 to i7's Dells and HP. All are stoked to the gunnels with RAM and have SSD cards, but that should have nothing to do with it.
And of course if you are a programmer ;-)

Just write your own if you are that concerned, its not difficult. But there doesnt seem the need. The site needs ads to survive, so long as they are unobtrusive then I see no problem.
Firefox on Dell lappy W7 with no adverts
How amoral is it to suddenly stop users accessing the site if they have adblockers installed and then accept presumed payment to advertise adblockers?
