I am having major problems with receiving my email, not a problem sending email though,
every time i open outlook, AVG pops up, and stays there for ages, and eventually nothing comes in, yet i know there are messages to come in, as i can look at them on the blueyonder website, i have tried turning AVG off as someone suggested, but it doesn't solve the problem.
Anyone that can sort this out for me, would be a friend for life!! and make me the happiest person alive, sad i know, but it is really doing my head in!

I use OE6 with AVG and when receiving mails it does a scan but basically only takes a second or two and lets things through, same thing with outgoing mails.
Your POP3 server for incoming mail should be something like pop3.blueyonder.co.uk (sorry if you know all this already?) whereas the outgoing one [email protected].
