i might be interested in buying a new phone - first off it has to be
samsung, i don't want to pay oodles for it, has anyone a recommendation.
if you have a samsung what model do you have.?
it will need to be at least 64 gig.
do they come with sim card?

how do you know when that phone was produced. my current phone is over 5 years old

i didn't know if they were different sizes. i picked one and ordered that so thanks for your help. quickest 160 odd quid ive spent in ages.

My phone is 5 years old and I have no intention of changing it for another couple of years - it does more that I need it to :) Fingers crossed it keeps going.

i will take the phone to EE and get them to help me with it. even though i didn't buy it there, which i would have preferred.

You won't need help with it. Put the sim card in, log in to your google account and you'll be away. Same number.

i spoke with EE on phone, they said that i would need a different sim card, a Nano? which they could supply but it would by 5-7 days, but advised i go round the shop and they can do it there.
