When you bought it you would have been given a product key. It's usually good for 3 or 4 devices. Just try the same code
If you bought Microsoft Office (or it came pre-installed on your computer) as a standalone product, without any subscription costs, the licence is valid for one computer only. If you subscribe to Microsoft 365, you can use Microsoft Office (including Powerpoint) on multiple devices.

So how did you come by Office/Powerpoint? If it was as a standalone program, do you have the installation disc? (Also, which version of Office/Powerpoint is that you're using? e.g. Office 2016 or Office 2019).

Thanks Chris - I remembered my PP was hooky and didn't work properly, so I have bought a proper legal one and I have my Code to put it on my laptop.
