How do I revise and update my email address on Theanswerbank?
I've viewed my profile and tried to edit the email address I used to use, but with no success.

I wanted to change my email address a couple of months ago, but it failed every time. Tried again today and it worked first time! Weird.

did you enter the new one twice then tabb right down & press "submit"

If you have problems still, you'll need to contact the EDs and I suggest you do that from the e-mail address showing on your account so they know it is you.

TheCorbyloon - I can't use that email address as it no longer exists.

I left AB a couple of months ago due to security concerns which flagged up on my PC specifically referring to AnswerBank. At this time some people were having problems logging in or changing passwords. The Admin were less than helpful and denied a security breach. I suggest you ditch your present profile and open a new account. Make sure you use a valid (not throw away) email address, and preferably a 'nonsense' password that would be very hard to hack.

Had to email AB when I had the same problem.

Had to give my password so they could change it at HQ. Success.

Thanks AB Editor, but I've solved the problem now.
It didn't like me using the same email address that I have used for an alternative account.

Howard! you are not allowed an alternative account! Do you realise what you've now set off? All the usual suspects will be PM-ing each other trying to 'out' you lol!
