I had trouble with some NTSC disks but no problems as long as they are PAL. Does that make sense stevie21 ?

Makes no sense at all - I was just trying to bluff my way through the answer by sounding very confident.

It seems to have worked up until this confession ;-)

Maybe the region of your DVD player is locked so that it doesn't play those from the USA?
