I am unable to contact one particular person via iMessage.

It is only this one person.

Today they were in a meeting and put their phone onto Do Not Disturb, but a colleague recommended that another setting was changed.

My intended recipient cannot recall what this setting change was.

What could this have been as it seems to stopping iMessages being received?

Thanks, Gromit, but no, that wasn’t it. Checked that already.
Have you powered off both iPhones, and turned them on again?

The recipient’s iphone has been powered off and switched back on, yes. I have been trying to send the imessages not from another iphone, but from my ipad. That hasn’t been restarted. Good suggestion- I’ll try that now.

Nope, that didn’t work.

Buenchico, reading your link now…

No, the imessages tab is still at the on position.
Question Author
The recipient has told they haven’t received imessages at all from anybody since the start of the meeting earlier today.

Going to give it up as a bad job for tonight. Need my bed. It’s too late for me now. Thanks for trying to help, Gromit and Buenchico. Cheers and goodnight!
Perhaps ask the colleague who made the suggestion.
