Hi ..Yesterday my Firewall alert was going off every few minutes and blocking an attack from some Chinese place called Chinanet and the name
"MS MSDTC UserAllocate BO attack" kept cropping up....

Any thoughts on this please and does the fact that it is being blocked mean it is ok to carry on browsing etc?...commoner......

Your firewall is simply doing its job properly, however, make sure that all windows updates are installed and refer to the following website for further info.
