I need to cancel my bt internet connection

I hope someone can help me out here.My computer died on me last week after having it for 6 years.I'll probably be looking for a new computer after christmas.However my problem is i can't seem to find a telephone number to cancel my bt internet subscription (dial up).I've been with bt now for the last 5 years.I've checked the bt site but i can't seem to locate a telephone number.Can anyone help me out.

I'm sure it's 150. TRy it and follow the options fro broadband. I don't have a landline here so cannot test it, sorry!

DON'T CALL 150!!!.........You'll press loads of options, wait ages in a queue, be in the wong place, get transferred to another queue, etc, etc, etc........

The number you need is 08703284989 - that's the direct number for BT Yahoo dial up connections or 08702414567 for their billing dept - if you have a tech prob call 09063023456

150 is free, 0870 number are charged, which would you choose?

0870 will cost around 10p per minute - 0906 numbers can cost up to �1.50 per minute

150, as mentioned is free.

Even though all of the above is true - I still recommend you call the 0870 number - if you go through to 150all they will do (when you finally speak to someone!) is give you the 0870 number to call anyway!!

Believe me, I know - I work for BT 150/151!!

ps 0870 numbers wiould be charged at 8p per min peak or 4p per min off peak from a BT line. - Mobiles etc will be different.
