This boiler was fitted as part of a Warm Home initiative and apparently they have a terrible reputation. I would like to hear of anyone else who has had problems almost continuously.

It seems to me that les than £1000 for a new boiler is very cheap. I'd go for a Vaillant.

Still no functioning boiler. After fitting the part (is it called a PCB? this morning the boiler blew fuse after fuse and the engineer had to travel a ten mile round trip to get more (though they did not have the exact same fuse. It turns out that the fan has probably bust so they have ordered another one that has to come from a long way away. They will be fitting it tomorrow for a further two to three hundred pounds I now have almost paid for a new boiler but still have to pay for this lot at around £1,300 in total with a service cost on top of that. I am 79 next birthday and this has left me in a terrible state of mind.
