Finding pound sign on cumputer.

My keyboard show US dollar not pound sign. I know it is in there somewhere but can't remember how to get at it. Any ideas Please.

press shift and every key thats not a letter one by one

dunno if it will work tho. can you change your language settings on your PC?

Go to the control panel in windows, your Language setting will be set to US standard. You need to change it to Brittis/European/English whichever it is.

Just to add to theren_911's advice:

If you're using XP, you need to look under 'Language' in the Control Panel. Earlier versions of Windows put these settings under 'Keyboard'.

Once you've told your PC that you're using an English keyboard, you'll still need to know where the � sign is: It should now be located at Shift+3.
