Li-ion battery losing charge
6 Answers
will a fully charged li-ion digital camera battery lose its charge if it is not used for a while? if so how long does this take? i am going on a month long trip to bolivia next year and am taking my digital camera and will probably not be able to charge the battery for a few weeks so would need to take a spare.

if its being used every couple of days or so or once a week or so it'll be fine. but take a spare or two just in case you end up taking lots of pictures!
same goes with memory cards of course; make sure you have plenty of room.

...unless you are going to some remote region away from power supplies then you should be able to recharge your batteries ok. The supply is 230V at 50hz and although the plugs might differ, there should be little problem in finding a suitable adapter...this useful link should help......commoner.
