Combining postage so want to give discount before buyer pays, how do I do this? In eBay Adjustments, it says I can only give a discount of less than £0.00! Help please? Money will go straight into my bank although l think buyer is paying through PayPal. EBay won’t let me use eBay for selling any more ….

I remember once finding it easyer to just stick a £1 coin inside the parcel
"EBay won’t let me use eBay for selling any more"
eh?
Perhaps your discount needs to be a minus figure? ie -£2.20?
I think you mean eBay won't let you use PayPal to receive your sales income any more - not just you, Smurfchops. I'm just happy that my buyers can buy through PayPal

There is a sign -£ so I put the discount amount
(-£9.50) then it says in red “ invalid discount amount, enter discount less than £0.00 (postage and sales tax)”. If I add a - after the -£ (-£-) then the 9.50, it says ‘invalid format’. How am I supposed to give the discount? I have offered cash in the parcel but not yet agreed to this.

But buyers seems to think l can give a discount/part refund through PayPal, which l can’t any more.
I know it can be done, smurf. I got a discount on three items I bought just before Christmas. I paid through Paypal.

Chris thank you, why do eBay make things complicated? Or is it me? Don’t answer that :):):)
