When I receive new email in my Inbox, in the Received column there is shown date and time. Where is that date and time stamped on? The reason I ask is that I seem to be receiving email 12 hours after the received time stamp! Since some of my email is extremely time sensitive I wondered if there is anything I can do about it.!!
The time and date quoted is that when the message hits you inbox according to your computer clock. I suggest that the first thing you do is check your clock settings by double clicking on the time display on your toolbar to make sure that it is correct and not 12 hours out of sync.
My thanks to Dsg for your solution. When I did as you suggested I found the clock set to a different time zone viz: -8hrs GMT Pacific time but of course my task bar time and date were always ok whenever I looked at them! When I said 12 hours late I really meant a long time late. So now I will be closely watching for my next email arrival time.!!
Thanks once again! Les.
