25d ..... I've got adorn.
Question Author
Thank you, Teacher.

I don't have 38 across, so adorn is probably correct.
I think 25 D was Adorn, the others look fine.
38 across and 37 down combine to form a 7 letter word.
38a sounds like a short, first day of the week.

Mundane?
That's what I've got. ;o)

Thank you all. I still haven't twigged what the theme is even though I have all the clued lights now.

Perhaps the penny will drop, eventually. :-)

Anagrams !
I was being subtle...

Did you hear the clink!
Thanks, Tilly2 and Teacher.

All done!
Is the anagram of the word with (to be ignored) accent a place name?
Also, any hints on 33 down - not a theme word - for which I have -U-TAN? For those who don’t have a copy of the puzzle, the clue reads: It’s a fiddle losing a small breed of domestic fowl (6)
I had that as a possible answer, but couldn’t parse it.
I answered it, and parsed it yesterday _ Sultana is a fiddle, drop the A.
