Locked Out Of Hotmail.

Hi, for the second time in four months, for some reason, my iPhone won’t allow me access to my hotmail emails. It keeps telling me “ cannot connect to the hotmail server” then asks if I want to repair, but when I click this it says”The mail server imap-mail.outlook.com is not responding. Verify that you have entered The correct account info In mail settings”. I can’t remember how I managed to fix it last time but in both occasions I haven’t changed anything at all so I can’t understand how this keeps happening. Help please

First, try turning your phone off and then turning it on again. (That forces the app to close completely and restart, hopefully clearing out any dodgy settings).

If that doesn't work, delete the account and then create it again. (Don't worry. All of your old mail will still be there).
