He just got back to me last night say the number was never in his contact list. He has blocked the contact in What'sApp but there's still a faint image of the contacts photo and phone number in the list of Whatsapp contacts.
The phone is a Samsung Galaxy. If you, or anyone else, can help please word replies in a way that someone with very little grasp of technology could understand.
By the way, this really is for a friend and not for me. I wouldn't care who sees what's on my phone.
