I have to send my Zoom ID to someone for a meeting - how can I confirm what it is please?

Normally the person hosting the meeting sends a link.

Send them your email address and hopefully that will suffice.

I have been asked to send Zoom ID to a musician via a third party,so he can set up the meeting.

That's why I need my ID to send.

No please don’t do that. All they need to do is to email you the link to the meeting and you click on it to join.
Just say that you usually use Zoom via an email link, ask if they could do it that way please as it’s so much easier.

Sounds to me that they expect you to set up the zoom meeting Andy.
With your techo ability I doubt that will happen.

It turns out wires were crossed - the PR wanted me to set up the meeting, which is fine, he simply didn't make that clear in his mails to me.

He got really snotty and told me if I didn't sort it, he would 'have to get another writer'.

Apart from the fact that the choice of writer is not his call to make, it's the sort of nonsense I have to put up with on a regular basis to get hooked up with musicians, who with virtually no exceptions, are charm and professionalism personified, dealing with their press officers who are very often miserable, rude, and difficult.

A writer's life for me tra-la tra la .......

I bow to few in my inability to master the intricacies of computer technology Ozz, but believe it or not, I can set up a Zoom Meeting, much to my, and everyone else on here's amazement.

I have done so, but thanks again to all for their advice, appreciated as always.
