Sony Xperia Xa1 - Losing Wifi. Help Please!

My wife now has this phone and she only uses it for calls, texts and going online for news items. She has a paygo as she does not go out much and it is connected to our wifi.

What is happening is every few times she switches it on (not always) she goes into settings and the wi fi which is normally on and blue is 'off'

It never did this for me and the only difference is that I have disabled her data as the wifi went off a while ago and she incurred charges.

Would this be the reason for the wifi going off?

Thanks everyone

BTooth was turned on!
I have turned it off now and will see how it goes and report back in a few days
Thanks
Check that you haven't enabled "Stamina Mode" or "Ultra Stamina Mode".
I've just had a quick look at my XA1:
Settings >>> Battery.
In here you can select power saving modes, (Stamina Mode and Ultra Stamina Mode) which will more than likely turn off the Wi-Fi, so make sure these are not activated.

Thanks everyone for your help but....my wife has just received a message from VFone to say her XA1 is not 4G compatible from next year. I checked with Sony and there list of compatible phones and that is correct so I have bought her one like mine Xperia 10 IV which is 5G
