Is there a database, which can be downloaded for free, so that I can put all my DVD's on it. I have been using an online database to store records of my DVD's which also allows you to export them into excel but its a pain to keep signing in an adding/removing films, plus downloading into an excle file does nto export the dvd covers.

There must be a software for DVD databasing outthere somewhere? Help!!

cheers for that. I will give it a go tonight?

or just create a word document with all your movie titles on them and then use the hyperlink feature to direct you to the appropriate 'IMDB' (internet movie database) web-page.

IMDB cross references all actors and crew with their history and biographys.... and its free.

Have a look at this.... http://www.fnprg.com/catvids/catvids.html

I use software from the same company to catalogue Audio CDs, and while it's not free, it is very very powerful and flexible!!

Failing that, if you have MS Access as part of the Office suite, I might be able to knock something up for you!!
