I am ditching live TV and iPlayer so I can cancel the TV licence.
Does anyone knows which TV brand /model does not have iPlayer app installed?

Therefore any 'non-smart' TV would meet your requirements. e.g. any of these models from Sharp:

I used a TV for 10 years without a TV licence.
If you don’t watch any live TV or iPlayer that is perfectly legal.
If you buy an Amazon firestick and download ITVX and other UK onDemand services, and just watch on catchup, then you are fine.
You have to declare on the TV licensing website that you are not watching any live TV, and they will not believe you and still send some gestapo to your door.

Thanks Buenchico, the did expect such a brilliant product that meets my needs.
The problem with my current Samsung TV is that it has iPlayer installed. If the inspector sees it they are going t ok say I am using it. Maybe I should install a CCTV pointing at the TV and records it 24/7 to proof that I don't watch live TV or iPlayer.

Using the 'Smart = No' filter on the Argos website brings up these 8 sets

Just a thought: It's actually an offence just to 'install' a TV set, even if you're not actually using it. [s.363, Communications Act 2003]. So, as well as ensuring that your TV hasn't got access to iPlayer, it might well be a good idea to ensure that there's no aerial that's plugged into it (or which could be plugged into it because there's an antenna cable or wall socket near to it).

I haven't watched any telly at all since New Year's Eve but I'm still happy to pay for a TV licence, as I reckon that I still get great value from BBC radio services and from the BBC website.
(I'm not entirely sure why I'm still paying for NOW TV though - although I expect that I'll be using it again when there's a neew series of Air Crash Investigaton available to watch!)
