Can’t Access Answerbank On My Pc

As usual, I did my monthly history and browsing deletion plus scan and, for the first time, I could not access my Answerbank account. I did it all again to see if it would work but it doesn’t. It just keeps saying “Oops something went wrong with this account.” I can’t access my profile or post on it. I asked Answerbank for advice and they said they would get back to me but didn’t. I can still access my account on my IPhone luckily which is how I can post this. Any suggestions? I don’t want to lose my account or Avatar

Still no joy then. I can do those stupid boxes with traffic lights etc. This is a box of letters and numbers all on different levels with a wavy line through them all. It’s a real pain!!!! I can access my bank accounts easier than AB!!!

I think you enter the number you see, and the assumption is that there's sufficient disguise that a software programme won't be able to identify the number.

Thanks for trying to help Barry and OG. Discovered you are dead right in what you say OG - thanks - I was told just type the letters and numbers in - the unevenness and wavy line is just in case I am a robot so I did this over and over and it just kept coming up with another code and then another code. Looks like I will have to keep using my phone forever at this rate!!!! AB still aren’t replying. When I explained everything to my friend she says it must be a glitch on the AB site and will try to sort it when she visits on Friday SO WATCH THIS SPACE!!!!

Interesting link. If it is successful then it negates the use of that version of captcha and the websites using it need to update it's security.

Can't remember the last time I had to deal with any kind of captcha - I use 2FA

Bet you are all fed up of me. Tried everything and when my friend returned from the TTs she tried everything and finally told me I would have to contact AB because you have no option to change your password ridiculously which you can on every other site including banks!!! I DID contact AB AGAIN and they said they would contact me shortly which they didn’t. It’s so annoying because they still manage to ask me for donations. While I am on (it’s a pain keep having to go on my phone) thanks for the post about Kisses at fifty Barry. Loved it the first time round and now watched it again. Also still loving Kingdom. Are you?

I have a suggestion about your AB problems. You are obviously able to access your account on your iPhone, so (think about it before you react) you could change your password to one of your choosing on your iPhone (if you can remember your current password) and then you should be able to log in on all your devices.

Are you 100% sure that your user name is exactly the same on your PC as your phone? no stray capital or punctuation mark, no space at the front...
