No Touchpad Or Sound

I have no touchpad or sound on my Dell laptop. Running windows 11.

I’ve checked the settings - all OK, and I’ve rebooted and I’ve run an audio troubleshooter.

What next please?

I can’t change the volume in settings even.

Perhaps you've got the audio muted? Press F1 to toggle it back on.

For the touchpad, check to see if it's disabled. (Click 'Windows 11 or Windows 10', here: https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-uk/000124374/disabling-or-enabling-the-touchpad-on-a-dell-notebook )

If that doesn't help, you'll probably need to uninstall the sound and touchpad drivers. Restarting your laptop should then see them reinstalled automatically.

The F1, F2 keys are not changing the audio.

Touchpad not been disabled.

Can you help me with a link with instructions to uninstall relevant drivers?

Scroll down to 'To uninstall your audio driver' and follow the instructions, including restarting your laptop to get the driver to automatically reinstall itself.

The technique for the touchpad driver is the same.

All sorted this morning. I run updates to touchpad driver which released whatever was stuck - not only the touchpad but the keyboard function keys and the on screen audio controls. All working again now.
