I keep getting a flag appearing in the top corner of my monitor. The messages say "renew mcafee software", "someone is down loading files from your computer","you have 3 viruses on your computer click here to scan.". They are all bogus.How do I get rid of them

Probably by doing a check with a trusted virus checker.
