Help, Connecting Printer to PC

I got an Epson C48 printer for christmas, am trying to connect it all up today but there is no cable to connect printer to pc.(laptop if that makes a difference)

Can anybody tell me what it is I need to buy to do this? What do I need to ask for when I go to the shop.

Any advice appreciated.

A USB cable - they are a few quid.
Thats why printers are so cheap nowadays - they dont put the cables in!

you need a usb printer cable -- they're about a fiver but I have seen them in a few of the 'pound shops' and they do the job ok.

A USB printer cable. Best place is a local computer shop or even Homebase. Failing that you'll have to pay more at Currys etc. Oh, try Asda.

Or do you have another USB printer or even a scanner as they will more than likely use the same cable
