AVG keeps finding a trojan in my system in a file called "C:\System Volume Information\restore tec.etc" I've done searches of all files in my "c" drive and can't find these files hidden or otherwise. AVG heals them after the scan but they return again. Any ideas anyone?

Hi

You will need to turn off system restore, restart your pc, run AVG. Let it find and kill the virus. Then enable system restore.

If you go to control panel>system you will see a tab for system restore. Thats where you turn it off and on.

Hope this helps.
