I recently found the password of a Hotmail account that I hadn't used for several years, and it worked.  There are over 130 emails in the Inbox, but I'm only able to scroll down the first 30 or so and no further.  Is there any way I can access the others?

There should be two options at the bottom, which can be clicked >

"next" and "previous"

Thanks.  Just had a look, and there's no 'next' or 'previous' box.

Maybe delete a few unwanted ones or move to spam ? Or your system may have a limit

Maybe if you delete the read 30 ?

Surprised there are no page controls. Maybe if you right clicked on them. Or kept the button down. Or something similar.

Can you change the order... eg to oldest to newest or alphabetic order

If you don't want to delete the emails, you could create a new folder and move the first 30 emails into it, which will hopefully enable you to view the next 30.

You could then move this next batch into the same folder, or maybe make a 2nd folder for this 2nd batch and so on ....

Question Author

Ah yes, will give the 'move to new folder' idea a go.  Thank you.

Question Author

No, didn't work.  Frustrating!

What happens if you delete them ?

Question Author

Thing is, I don't want to delete them as they're nearly all from a friend who has since died

Which e-mail provider are you using?

Ignore that, you said it's Hotmail. Do you have any filters on?

Question Author

No filters that I know of - have been using Hotmail for 25 years (still my main email) and never come across any filters other than the usual spam one and the newish 'focused' inbox.
