Is Farage Labours Secret Weapon ?.

The wi-fi reception from our Talk Talk router up stairs is poor. the router is downstairs in the corner room of the house (not great I know, but that is where the telphone socket is (copper wires still). Broadband speed is 45Mbps.
Have analysed the wi-fi channels and separated them from overlapping our neighbours wi-fi but still poor.
I had the house wired with ethernet sockets in each room at the start of the year. Is there any body with knowledge of access points on here to advise what i can plug into the ethernet socket or switch to extend/boost the wi-fi upstairs? Possibly by puttng an access point on the landing ceiling. Are they available?
The router has 2 and 5ghz

He recommends POE (power over ethernet), which requires less wiring at the ceiling. In the example, he runs a cable through the attic from the switch box.
A less permanent solution is to connect a desktop Wireless Access Point device in an upstairs room. It would require connecting only a power adapter and an ethernet cable.
