Why are some institute completed Data Science course in 6 months but some of take 1 year.

Your use of "institute completed" in your question suggests to me that you're not in the UK (where this website is based). Here though, the length of course in Data Science would depend, to a large extent, upon the level of qualification that would be available at the end of it.
For example, the University of Oxford offers a course over just 6 weeks of part-time study

which leads only to a 'certificate of completion' (rather than a formal academic qualification).
The Open University's course, which leads to a BSc(Hons) degree, takes 6 years of part-time study (or 3 years of full-time study):

The former course might be best-suited for someone who's already working in the field of IT (and who simply wants to broaden their knowledge), whereas the latter course is the one that someone seeking a future career in IT would probably need to opt for.
