I am trying to create a website, but sometimes the link is too long and i have to break it over a line which is unsightly. Is it possible for the name to appear, for example, as www.happyopolis.com, but for the hyperlink to go direct to www.happyyopolis.com/travel/guides/local/nightlife-list.php?LocMetroID=20

Putting this tag - <A target='_blank' href="test.html">test</A> will give you a hyperlink called test

sorry that doesnt look very clear, will try and get it all on one line

<A target='_blank' href="test.html">test</A>

Do you really meen www.happyopolis ..... followed by www.happyyopolis??? i.e. TWO Ys in second - if so perhaps you should mention it. If not (both = happyopolis) then I not surprised you are having problems if you cannot get such a simple item right.

Thanks Victor, yes, I have made a spelling error in writing out the question, but my question still stands. I'm sure someone of your enormous intellect could find something more useful to do than hang around on sites being 'meen' to people.

If you go to 'insert-hyperlink' and type in where you want it to go e.c.t. when it is put onto the actual page you can press backspace and type in whatever you want and it still takes you to the right place.
