i-pod charging

How do you charge your i-pod without downloading all your songs from i-tunes?

When you put your iPod in go into itunes and click file>Preferences>iPod then I think its on the iPod tab you can disable the iPod from automatically updating it when you plug it in. Or you could buy the plug adapter, where you can plug it in to the wall and all it does is charge it up. go on the iPod store on www.apple.com/ukstore
