Photo Frame Problem

When I take photo's with my tablet or phone, I save them to my gallery on the tablet, which then display on my tablet the correct orientation. I then unplug my u.s.b stick from my photo frame and upload photo's to it.  

When the stick is then displaying photo's on the frame, some of them are not the correct orientation, the frame allows me to rotate the photo but I cannot make it save that setting, so when frame displays it again it is back to being sideways or upside down.

Apologies if this is not very clear, but if anyone can understand it enough to help I would be grateful.

Can only suggest making copies with corrected orientation and then using them to view in the "frame".

Thanks for that, I am out of my comfort zone with all this but the electronic picture frame has no internal memory so is only displaying what is on the USB stick plugged into it, when the stick is plugged into my tablet all photo's are correct orientation. Was easier when we went to boots and picked up envelope of photo's and looked through them, can't help thinking things ain't improved at all really.
