Tablet Suitable For Eldely/Disabled Person

My husband suffered a severe stroke in November. I have been looking for a tablet that would be easier for him to handle. At the moment he has an ipad which is quite small for him to see properly.

I have found a Doro computer which looks good.

Has anybody had any experience with these tablets ?

If you google "Doro tablet reviews", you will find lots of opinions.

You'll see that, among many other things, AbilityNet provides a free helpline for personalised advice on getting the best from technology for people who're struggling with disabilities.  It might be worth giving them a call.

Besides the Doros already mentioned these suppliers do a range of tablets that are "user friendly". This is the entry level specification model and other better figuration models are available from Amazon. Of course it is difficult for us to give precise recommendations because we do not know how challenging Mr Ch is finding things or to what he wants to use a tablet for. We wish him well and you too. Perhaps you are unaware of the iPad's accessibility features. If that's the case, this tutorial video may help.

Additional thought, iPads are made in different sizes. Another possible solution is a 12.9 inch iPad.
