Lock Screen Display Help

Please can anyone help, I might not get the tech names right  -

My lock screen (?), meaning the screen I see when I open my laptop and there is a bar to enter my passcode, has notification blocks  right across the bottom with the weather, finance markets and local traffic (I thought these used to be call widgets). Anyway I didn't set them up and I don't want them (or at least would like to choose what I see). I googled and it suggested going to settings and notifications etc. I thought I did as it said and switched notifications off but everythign is still there.

Sorry for long-winded question, this is in Win 11. How do I get rid?

Thank you barry, that's a different link to one I first looked at, followed the instructions and certainly this morning it seems to have worked :-)
