Icloud Storage

I've had an email saying my free storage is full 5gb 

i pay for 50gb extra iCloud storage that's shown still as 50gb available. Can anyone explain, why I'm getting this message or is it spam. TIA.

It could be spam 

Have you checked the email header?

If you've been paying for the extra storage for  some time then it's probably spam. If it's a new service then check that direct debit has gone through OK.
