with the amount of info you have supplied, i would say at this moment in time its you !!
some people have lots of problems with tiscali, others don't.

I use tiscali at my uni house, and dont have any problems with them at all.

In what way?

You have asked a hypothetical question without anyone knowing the reason for your post, so perhaps you would enlarge just a little.

I have used it for about 5 years and its always been fine.

i have had tiscali for about 4 months on 1 meg but it is constantly up and down from 220 to2680 and to tray to sort it out with those bods in India is just maddening their is no day that is the same i wait for the day get rid

is this like one of those games where you give us a tiny clue and then we have to try and guess what the problem could be ? if it is then at the moment your'e winning hands down.

So let me get this right Tiscali 1meg and its been up and down roughly between 200 - 2500, did i get that right ? good at least i know why i have no more idea than i had before, its not because i missed something then ?

Not only me but Cetti has given you a clue.... keyword coming up here so pay attention...."information" we need information like what op system. how do you connect to the internet , what equipment , firewalls, does it happen at random or is there some sort of pattern, have you done virus, spyware, etc etc checks.

Is your PC doing other things in the background, have you looked in Task Manager

Are you near the exchange is your phone line ok. have you asked BT to check ypur line , whats the retention, give us a clue. It could be any or a combination of things

Ah, I understand your problem now bonny, but most call centres for the major companies are in India and on the one occasion I've had to use it was amazed just how polite the operator was, although it did take a while to get used to the accent - but I'm certain it was the same for him with mine!

I've been with them for over 5 years and have had no great problems. The support is pretty good and while the broadband speed does vary slightly, but then you would expect it to during peak times.
