For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I've been with blueyonder for over four years and only rarely had any problems. Even then, their tech support is very good. Yes, they provide the modem, and they come round and fit it, and a network card.
I was with loads of ISPs over several years before blueyonder, and each had its faults, but I honestly can't fault blueyonder at all. Even when I've phoned Tech Support and it's turned out not to be anything to do with their broadband service (i.e., it's a fault on my computer), they do all they can to advise and point me in the right direction.
Sorry, don't know anything about setting up a wireless network, but I'm sure there are other here who would advise.
I agree with the above statements about blueyonder being good. (Probably the best I have used, although I can't use them anymore, not in a cable area).
Just a note, Blueyonder technicians no longer install the modems. They install everything else but give you the modem in a box to sort out yourself. (To many complaints from customers about technicians "Breaking" their computers and far too time consuming). Saying that, they are very easy to setup. Just install the driver and then plug the modem in to your pc (If usb otherwise just connect the CAT 5 cable).
If you want to go wireless then you will need a cable broadband wireless router (NOT ADSL). It is a long time since I configured a blueyonder wireless network but it is very straight forward. (See their online help). If you decide to go down this route and need further advice please repost another question and I will try and help.
as far as a wireless network goes, this should suit you fine as a wireless router:

and for your computer,

however, you say "set up a wireless network again," does that mean you already have a wireless network? in which case, your computers will already have the needed devices (the second thing i link too), and your router may work too, if it isn't an ADSL modem too.
Hopefully this will set your mind at rest.
In 1998 I was the first in our town to join Telewest. I then had another line installed to use the internet in 1999. It was not to good. Then in 2000 (I think) Broadband came out via Blueyonder. I have been using it since and if I could add up all the hours that it has not worked would be around three days. The longest it never worked was in 2004 when a junction box was damaged.
My Son-In-Law is a IT worker in a very prominent position and he swears by it. Hope this help you make your mind up.
