Metamask Message By Email

Received an email - dear user ,,,we have detected unusual activity on my MetaMaxk wallet in past 24hrs.  For my security please verify my authority via button below to avoid any suspension.  Ie Verify my wallet .......can anyone advise Yes or No

I don't know what MetaMaxk is, but I'd not respond to anything that addresses you as "dear user", of that wants you to verify anything.

Hopefully someone with more knowledge can help.

Thank you - I'm very wary about these things, so I'll take your advice and not do anything ....I should say my message should read MetaMask and not with an X as I have typed but you'll have guessed that

It is not safe. It is a scam

100% scam, never-ever use a link in a email you have suspicion about. Delete it fully and go and log in using your normal method to see if there is any trace of unusual activity.
