Help Me Spend An Argos Voucher

I was given an Argos Voucher for £20 last year but haven't spent it.  I've searched the website a few times but cant find anything I need.  Not wanting it to go to waste I need your help!  Expensive printer ink is about all I can find.

What would you spend £20 on in Argos if you had to?

Can you use it in Sainsbury's?

Good idea, but I have a an LED lamp plugged into the mains that charges and automatically comes on in case of a power cut.  

I have fairly new towels and lots of throws, but I must admit to buying 2 new bath towels in the winter and clean forgot about this voucher!

Gift set that can be put aside for birthday/Christmas

Batteries

Toy/Lego for birthday/Christmas

Something for a pet

Does it have an expiry date on it? Perhaps you can use it to get a birthday present for someone . I know  wasn't good for the planet but I really miss having a browse through the catalogue

Sorry to go a little off topic but in response to MargoTester, I still occasionally browse the old Argos catalogues online, it shows just how cheap many goods are today.

Margo is fine Barry 🙂  It's  just not the same for me though you have to have some idea of what you want instead of flipping through for inspiration.

Ahhh compost, thats a good idea. And yes I miss the catalogue too; no amount of searching online would have found compost!

Some compost, some expensive batteries for the smoke alarm and my travel clock, and I have probably used it.

Could you use it in Sainsbury's if you wanted to, Maydup?  The web suggests you can in which case it would be wine.

You cannot use an Argos gift card in Sainsburys.

What you can do is buy something online from Argos using the gift voucher but collect it from a local Sainsburys if that is more convenient.

There are gift cards that can be used in either Argos or Sainsbury's but mine is pure Argos despite them being one and the same company.

Thsnks got the suggestions, it got me looking again and I've settled on a new mini greenhouse which is on offer. I use mine a lot and its perished now so a good opportunity to replace it.
