could anyone please tell me how to stop internet explorer click everytime i go to a new page or hit a link - many thanks undercovers

ahhh peace perfect peace - i have found out how to do it! in XP go to start - control panel - sound speech and audio devices - sounds and audio devices link at the bottom there - then go to the sounds tab - there you will see a scroll down list go to windows explorer and then for some reason choose Start Navigation - this will give you the option to choose [none]. once saved that annoying click as cleared up a treat...


sorry if everyone already knew this (or worked it out for themselves before coming bothering you all on AB)

though i'll prob findout that i can't listen to music online or something more annoying later - nevermind ... but forgive me if i come back

If you have a look through these list of "events" then there aren't many that you need. I'd probably leave the "alerts" as these catch your attention when something bad happens!

Definitely turn off all the daft clicks etc. though. This won't have any impact at all on listening to music.
