Alternatives To Easy Downloader From You Tube

Hi all,

My easy Downloader from You Tube hasn't worked for months. I hoped it would sort itself out.

Are there any free alternatives? Everyone I've tried either doesn't work or is blocked.

Google is making it harder to download videos, it takes advertising revenue away from them and the creators.

Do you want to download to PC, android or apple devices?

It's illegal to download videos from YouTube unless you've paid Google for the right to do so (via a Premium account).  So they're obviously going to keep blocking free browser add-ons.

It's probably time to bite the bullet and pay for a reliable download service but (as long as you're happy with defrauding Google out of their revenue) that doesn't mean that you need to subscribe to YouTube Premium.  A one-off payment of £24 for a lifetime licence with 4K Video Downloader Plus is all you need.  (It's a standalone app, so it doesn't rely upon any type of browser extension).  It's what I use:

Seems to me you'd probably want to download a video you already watched, liked, and wanted to ensure remained available for personal view; so having skipped the ads once, my conscience wouldn't be pricked were I to download it.  It'd probably sit on the drive unused anyway.
