Sony Tv Kd55-Af8 Iplayer Not Working - Error Code 02050

Don't know if anyone can help.  It was working fine but now this error code shows for every programme I try.

I have cleared the cache and cookies for the app;  unplugged my TV at the mains and restarted it; restored it factory default.

I cannot delete the app - there is not the option to, it is part of 'Sony Select' and not an optional download.  I cannot download it because it says 'not available for this device'.

I have checked with iPlayer and it IS compatible.

All other tv apps work.

Any suggestions?

Getting hold of Sony Support is impossible.  Very disappointing.

Check that your TV's firmware is fully up to date:
