The Sopranos I presume

nero vision express is easy to use i got it from limewire, u can also author the dvd very easily ie make menus and thumbnails, choose mini-dvd from menus on right hand side, click next, import your video files, click next, choose thumbnails, background, text, etc click next u will then get a preview of the dvd and a remote control, if u are happy click next choose burning options and start it can take a while, i would try it on a rw dvd first just to make sure, this piece of software is very user friendly and you can make some really proffessional looking dvd's in minutes, by the way it isnt my name is earl is it, as i have downloaded all 12 episodes and it is great

lost series 2? have you tried googling your dvd player? not all dvd players can play RW's and some differ in the +/- format.
if it is the avi format that is causing your woes google for 'avi to mpeg'. you get a huge list of programs to convert your video files, a lot with a free trial period which will be enough for your files.

ps. pirated episodes of tv shows IS naughty stuff. you bad boy

tnx everyone , yea u r right boobesque ,i can watch em on my tft but id rather see them on my 28" widescreen

An easier option may be to do what i have done.

Most new graphics cards (i got mine from PC world circa 45) have a composite video out, a yellow socket that can plug into one of those scart adapters. then you can watch programs staight from the PC, and will save the lenghty encoding process to a DVD format, and DVD discs. Conect your PC straight to your 5.1 system and hey presto. Free TV and cinema in your own home!!! (subject to copyright of course)

You could alway's buy a cheap back-up dvdplayer that play's Divx's that way you don't have to convert them and you can fit about 5 films on 1 disc...........
I use NeroVision for this. I'd recommend it, just as WSTWUN has.
It's incredibly easy to use, and user friendly. I like it lots.
An excellent programme (and free) is Winavi video convertor,

takes about 30 minutes to decode per film - then burn with their in built facility (mine goes to the nero burning Rom) which takes about 10-12 minutes - using nero (only) for all this takes quite a bit longer - on a standard DVD (I use +RW) you can get three movies generally.
