Internet in Spain

My folks have moved to Spain and have a laptop. I was wondering if any new off or has set up internet over there and could recommend a server or advice.

I live in the canaries, and use Telefonica. Its the only provider in the area.

Their ADSL is irregular and only 80% of what the say it is. Their customer service is appalling, and procedures bizzare.

I have friends on Wannado and say its ok. But beware, spanish small print on length of cantract is worse than English companys. and getting any line connected in the sticks could take months. make sure you have a list of questions ready before agreeing to anything.

We too have a house in Spain - I'm going on Sunday and taking my laptop with me. www.gonuts4free.com offers free internet usage through the traditionl phone line (usually Telefonica in Spain) and the time spent on line is really cheap. They also offer a service here in the uk. If you go to their website you can download instantly what you need for your computer. Good Luck. Julia.
