network adaptors

i have a main desktop computer and i have a laptop which i am trying to set up as wireless. i have a software disc for the adaptor do i load it into the main computer or the laptop?

You will need 2 adaptors, one for the desktop and one for the laptop (unless the laptop has wireless on-board already).

I'm assuming the laptop is wireless ready so you would install the adaptor and the software on your main computer.

When you install the software set it to ad-hoc mode and then your laptop should pick it up from it's available wireless list.
