Firefox formatting
Is this typical of Firefox, or am I missing something? And can it be changed? Should I expect to see lots of little changes like this on other sites too?

I'm not sure I know what you mean about the highlighting. Do you mean that if you start to type "theanswerbank" into the address bar that it appears after you type the first few letters? This is down to what sites are stored in your history but I dunno if this is even what you're asking.
Stevie, about the highlighting, I meant when I write a web address in an answer to an AB question (using IE) it would normally change colour and become an 'active' link (as soon as I'd typed a space at the end of it). I could then select it and type in a replacement word, such as 'here', and that would then become active (and would be the actual link, it just wouldn't look the same).
This doesn't happen with Firefox. I suppose it's just a peculiarity of Firefox, and doesn't really matter, it's just that it was convenient to be able to make handy little links, rather than the whole www.whateverblahblahblah.com thing.
Thanks for the reply, by the way.
