can't get rid of bearshare

I made the mistake of downloading bearshare, tried to get rid of it but only half the stuff has gone. Tried to uninstall and delete the bearshare file on my pc but it won't delete, denies access and doesn't even appear in my uninstal list. Now every time i start pc i get bits of the program opening and annoying me. How can i get rid of it totally?

Thanks for that commoner but no, the damn thing is still there. It does not register as a program i can uninstall, but it is in my program files. I can see it and it won,t let go, it's hanging on for dear life!! I guess i will just have to get used to havin it around :-(

you can start up in safe mode then drag bearshare to desktop.then reboot and bin it before it can get active, hope this helps
