I think if you can remove this LOP by doing the removal a lot of these problems may be solved as basically LOP is a dial up hijacker that appears to alter your internet settings to try and make you browse their selected sites.
Hiya , no problemI know it can be quite daunting, I "sort of" fumbled my way around by making major (real major) mistakes on my PC and having so many nightmares, until i finally realised it was just a box and some wires :-)
Anyway, what you need do is go to Start, then on the Right hand side, you should see Control panel, open this and youll see a list of items, at the top it probably has "accessibility options" ? further down theres one just headed "system" - open this and youll see a tab "system restore" - there should be a box (Unticked) - to turn off restore, just tick this and your restore history will be removed - do make sure youre happy that everything is working though as you cant restore back to an earlier date if you do this, Once ticked run Lavasoft adaware (http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/) and make sure the spyware is removed, do a virus scan aswell and when youre happy its all clear, untick the box again to ensure that restore is operative again.
