Sometimes you don't need the disk. I'm not familiar with that make, but have you tried loading directly from, say, windows media player? It's rare that a smaller make will have its own operating system (like sony does)
if so, just plug the device into the usb port, and wait for a few seconds. XP should tell you that it's found new hardware or some other message. after a few seconds it'll be ready to use, and if you go into My Computer, there will be a new drive there. that will be your mp3 player. just drag your mp3s into that drive, like transfering onto a floppy disk or something. once done, see if it plays :)
